Winter hygge - a styled elopement shoot inspired by the Scandi concept of cosiness - embracing a "feeling" or "a moment".
Let's face it, 2020 didn't give us many moments to embrace or celebrate, and like many others, our lovely couple Forest & Zak had to postpone their wedding. We wanted to help create some positive memories for them so decided to get together with our fave bunch of fellow creatives to bring together this elopement shoot at local woodland venue The Dreys, featuring our newest prop - our all wood geodome.
Forest wore the Beth dress from vintage bridal designer Poppy Perspective, paired with delicate jewellery pieces from Fitzgerald Jewellers, all perfectly complimented by beautiful natural makeup and hair styled by Storme. She met Zak for an intimate ceremony under our macrame canopy in the festoon-lined woodland.
Before popping the champagne, Forest changed into the Lueng dress from Poppy Perspective & Zak let his hair down!
Nestling in the gorgeous surroundings, we created a cosy sweetheart tablescape at dusk in the geodome with cushions, faux furs and twinkly lights. The setting was completed with gorgeous stationery from Sundown Paper, linens from Beyond Vintage and a showstopper cake from The Cake Witch.
The day was flawlessly captured by the photographer videographer duo Pierra & Russell, the final elements to tie together a subtle, but beautiful shoot.
